About photo books and the city of Paris

The myth of Paris - images determine the perception of the city. Many photo artists before and after him turned their cameras on the French capital, which is one of the most photographed cities in the world.Whether everyday clichés or the view behind the facade of the metropolis. Parallel to this, the photo book developed as a total work of art in the interplay of image and text, design and printing, paper and binding. Since the 1920s, more than 150 international photo books with a Paris connection have been published, of which the most recent titles still available are gradually being included here - end open.
