'Arctic Heroes' by Ragnar AXELSSON takes a moving look at the fate of the Greenland sled dog. Where the melting ice sheet is irrevocably destroying the traditional way of life of the hunters, global warming is an immediate threat to their daily survival.

For his 'Scrapbook' with own experiences when he grew up in Belfast as the son of a mixed marriage in the 1970s and 1980s, the Irish photographer Donovan WYLIE used scrapbooks from Northern Ireland from the late 1960s to early 1990s as an inspiration.

The young Finnish photo scene shows many facets. After the great success of the first publication 'The Helsinki School', the new volume, 'New Photography by Taik 'again one of the most unusual artistic approaches in current, conceptual photography.

The Icelandic photographer Ragnar AXELSSON drove to the most remote Inuit settlements in Greenland. In the book 'Die letzten Jäger der arktis' he documents the struggle for survival in an expressive way, e.g. through the unusual angles of his photography.
