The skin doesn't lie: it is a person's map. Like the paper in this artist's book: it changes, creases or becomes thin and transparent. Strictly limited, various papers-containing, elaborately designed band 'body maps' of Margaret LANSINK was made by hand.

Out-of-print 'The Whiteness of the Whale' brings together the American series by Paul GRAHAM which reflect on the social fabric of contemporary USA while attempting to find something closer to the experience of being and seeing in the contemporary world.

In 'Eternal Chase' neither composition, exposure nor focal length are in focus, these are secondary. Tamiko NISHIMURA leaves it up to the object to show itself. In contrast to the spiritual expectation at the selection, she took a lot of time to fix it.

'Common Dreams' by Kai LÖFFELBEIN reflects China's change and the existing contrasts. It critically examines its social and economic transformation with a focus on the lives of migrant workers who have to live in the outskirts of the large metropolises.

The black-and-white images in the photographic volume, 'Happy. Brooklyn 1988-1993', are from the first photography project by Finnish photographer Nina KORHONEN is about the story of 'Finntown', a part of Brooklyn inhabited by Finnish immigrants.

This catalog - signed on request - will be published on the occasion of the photo exhibition that will take place in Cologne on the 25th anniversary of the world premiere. It contains the documentation of the project by the photographer Roland KAISER.
