Background information
"The action 'Coyote' by Joseph BEUYS took place in 1974 at the René Block Gallery in New York: The artist spent seven days and nights there with a wild coyote. The wordless dialogue that developed between man and animal revealed, in an allegorical way, the buried possibilities of a human-to-human dialogue." (© Schirmer / Mosel, 2021)
