Background information
"For this photo book project, 'One Day Ten Photographers', ten international photographers took photos at different locations on June 21, 2010 - on the day of the solstice. Without thematic specifications or common content, they were free of any restrictions. The individual concepts of the Photo series were as diverse as the work of the photographers themselves, the only bracket was the given format for the collection of monographic books of the same format in a slipcase.
Content
For this photo book set, 'One Day. Ten Photographers', Martin PARR photographed small rituals of his everyday life, Rinko KAWAUCHI documented a train journey in Japan and Alec SOTH took his pictures with the Polaroid camera that his son had just given him for his birthday. This and the other works of the photographers involved were previously unpublished." (text slightly adapted, © Kehrer Verlag, 2011)
