Playing with diverse formats, the black-and-white photographs in the out-of-print photo volume 'End Time City' by Michael ACKERMAN go beyond depicting the city of Benares and instead create a moving and radically personal portrait of human life and death.

The b/w images in the out-of-print book 'Frenchkiss' by Anders PETERSEN, taken in 2005 in France - Paris, Gap as well as in St. Etienne -, show people in intimate situations. Together with the nature shots, a poetic-melancholic mixture has been created.
