In her photo volume 'Summer Heart', Cologne based photographer Thekla EHLING accompanies the growing up of her own children. She documents situations and moods and the viewer finds himself entangled in associations and memories of his own childhood.

'Kölner Heil (Cologne Salvation). 1986-1996' by Bernd ARNOLD examines the power & rituals of the Catholic Church in Cologne as well as an autonomous system of salvation in its power structures, which lives on seemingly untouched by all the developments.

'Girls, Some Boys and Other Cookies' by Ute BEHREND reflects the attitude towards life in the 1990s. From babies with their toys to little girls with their self-confidence, big girls with their pubescent insecurities and adult women with their role plays.

The photo book 'Cologne as it was. 408 photographs from 1920 to 1939 'by August SANDER, shows the images for the first time as the photographer created them. The German language volume also contains an introduction to its history and editorial corrections

For 'Wald' (forest) Gerhard RICHTER chose photos from an extensive collection, which was created since 2005 in the forest near his house. It follows a dramaturgy developed together with text pages and opens up analogies to the overall work of the artist.
