"The photography by Joseph RODRIGUEZ intimately documents the life of people who live at the fringes of society: families who live on the wrong side of the law, prostitutes in Mexico, jail inmates in Zambia and pentecostal pilgrims in Romania. Isolation, migration, prostitutesand religiousness - people are always in the focus of his work.

In his catalog volume 'A Humanist Gaze', Brooklyn-born photographer Joseph RODRGUEZ presents thirty-six photographs. The catalog has been published to coincide the first showing of his works in Germany.
