This self-published volume 'Obval' by Ukrainian photographer Kirill GOLOVCHENKO refers to a development in his home country. There, the currency 'Hryvnia' lost so much value in two decades that this amounted to a crash/crash. This volume is his answer.

For their volume 'Empty land' Rob HORNSTRA and Arnold van Bruggen explored Abkhazia, located on the Black Sea, for four years. They visited refugees in Georgia and documented the Abkhazian government's attempts to populate the empty, war-ravaged country.
