"LINDER is one of the protagonists of the British punk of the late 1970s. To date, her artistic practice spans the fields of art, music, dance and fashion and combines different media such as collage, photography, video and performance.
With an uncompromising, feminist approach, the artist questions socially coded gender ideas and the sexual marketing of the female body in her work.
Since the beginning of her career, LINDER has made use of illustrated entertainment and porn magazines from the inexhaustible collection of images, which she has put together again in her collages based on Dada.
The construction of social identities is reflected in LINDER's self-portrayals, be it as the subject of her self-portraits in photographic works or in musical and choreographed performances that she develops for museums and theaters.
The catalog in the form of a fanzine was developed in close cooperation with the artist." (publisher's note, © Koenig, 2013)
