Background information
Anders PETERSEN became known in the 1960s with his photographic documentation of the 'Café Lehmitz' - a beer hall on the Reeperbahn in Hamburg. His incorruptible gaze, unconventional compositions and a radical, undisguised but not voyeuristic view of the people have made him famous.
