The out-of-print, large-format photo volume is the first monograph on the photographic work by Japanese architect and photographer Iwao YAMAWAKI and illustrates the fascinating visual experiments of this very talented Bauhaus-era photographer.

This photo volume, 'From Yokosuka' by Miyako ISHIUCHI, marks the final episode of her b/w 'Yokosuka' series, which became the subject of her first published work when she returned in 1976 to process her experiences in the city in the form of a photograph.

The book 'Hibi' by Masasia FUKASE contains 'Street Photography' of a special kind. In 1992 the Japanese photographer painted prints showing metropolitan road surfaces marked by time with garish colors. As a painter he often referred to asphalt structures.

'KURA chan' by Japanese master photograher Daido MORIYAMA is the sixth volume in a series of hand-bound volumes with screen-printed canvas covers. The revised edition contains photos from the 'Provoke' era as well as work that has not yet been published.

The photographs in this volume, 'UEKI. Petits Pots et Jardins' by Yasuyuki TAKAGI, could be a walk through an unexpected Tokyo and a form of sustainable development for a new concept of space as well as an expression of the creativity of the inhabitants.

The catalog 'On the Road' was published to accompany the major MORIYAMA retrospective in Osaka and brings together pictorial icons in chronological order. According to connoisseurs of Japanese photography, it is among Daido MORIYAMA's best publications.
