Background information
"Swedish photographer Anders PETERSEN became famous in the 1960s with his photographic documentation of 'Café Lehmitz' - a beer hall on the Reeperbahn in Hamburg. His incorruptible gaze, unconventional compositions and a radical, undisguised, but not voyeuristic view of people made him famous. Photographer Anders PETERSEN has been working with Rome since the mid-1980s and has returned to the Italian capital several times since then.
Content
The selection in out-of-print photo volume 'Rome' by Anders PETERSEN spans from the 1980s to 2012 and reflects the city's evolution.
