The photographic volume 'Women at Work' by Helga PARIS shows for the first time 49 selected portraits that the photographer chose for her series 'Women in the Clothing Factory VEB Treff-Modelle Berlin'. The images show her subjects in moments of tranquility amidst the factory environment. From the close familiarity with the women workers and their surroundings, touching portraits were created that show the sitters in brief moments of tranquility." (© Weiss Verlag)
