Background information
"This portrait collection by German-anmerican photographer Helmut NEWTON, which was first published in 1987, can definitely be regarded as a pantheon of 'very important persons' from film, fashion, politics and culture. But it is even more: you can see from his portraits that he would prefer to become a Roman paparazzo would be, as he himself once said. Anyone who had himself portrayed by him knew what would come of it. Our reprint guarantees many a surprising reunion with old friends."
