About the Saudi Arabian photographer, Ahmed Mater

Ahmed MATER (*1979 in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia) is a doctor and artist. After graduating as a surgeon, he settled in Jedda as an artist in the 1990s. In 2003 he co-founded the Edge of Arabia initiative, which works to improve the perception of Arab art and culture, especially from Saudi Arabia.
