About the German conceptual photo-artist, Hans-Peter FELDMANN (*1941 in Düsseldorf)

Hans-Peter FELDMANN is a German concept artist. In the 1960s he studied painting at what was then the Linz Art School, today Linz University for Artistic and Industrial Design. He has been working conceptually with photography since 1968. For the most part he uses everyday 'snap' pictures, some of which he has created himself, some of which he has collected, and combines them into small series edited in notebooks and books. In 1972 and 1976 he was represented at the 'documenta' (5 and 6). Hans-Peter FELDMANN lives and works in Düsseldorf.
