A work with which RAUTERT already received attention during his studies in Essen in 1973, here published again because of a symposium & exhibition. The book comprises 56 individual works of this cycle which explore the basics of photography grammatically.

Physicist Masanao ABE built an observatory with a view of Mount Fuji in the late 1920s. From there he held the clouds that surrounded the mountain for over 15 years. The motifs unintentionally fit into a iconographic tradition: the mountain and the cloud.
