German photographer and father Oliver RASCHKE is grateful to have had the opportunity to experience and document his family life. His volume 'The World Ain't Enough' represents the first 10 years of his sons' lives. Time is racing. The conquest continues.

In 'Scatching My Name on Your Arm', the American photographer Deanna TEMPLETON documents the prevailing trend in California in the early 2000s that famous surfers' immortalize 'themselves on their fans' bare skin or underwear and bathing clothes.

The book 'Between Girls' by American photographer Karen MARSHALL shows a group of teenagers in New York and documents the emotional bonds between 16-year-old girls to show as well as their symbolic relationships. The book design is by Teun van der HEIJDEN

The images in the self-published volume 'da denk ich, dass ich fliegen kann' by Conny HÖFLICH give insight into the parallel world of children and the loss of immediate access. The pictures also tell of this in their ambivalence of closeness and distance.

In 'Pithead' Fatih KURCEREN directs his gaze at the Ruhr region and its inhabitants. To do so, he moves along the blurred edges of a society whose center seems just as unclear as the questions about its norms and about what is foreign to it or its own.
