Out-of-print artist's book, 'Lange Weile' by Tina BARA, contains b/w-mages taken between 1983 and 1989 in East Berlin, the old GDR and other travels. This visual diary captures a moment right before the collapse of an entire political & ideological system

In 'Zuerst das Leben' Willy RONIS documents a modern socialism, ignoring the problems of the system. These are pictures about everyday life in the GDR, which - detached from the context of the Cold War - unfold their full stylistic and aesthetic effect.

The announced photographic volume 'Leipzig 1972' by Ute ESKILDSEN and Timm RAUTERT is the result of a series taken during a week in autumn 1972. It shows a very subjective, silent picture of Leipzig. A special, historical document of analog photography.

By chance, Mark POWER was present at the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989. To mark the 25th anniversary, he self-published his photo volume 'Die Mauer ist Weg!' (The wall is away) which corresponds to a newspaper that he bought in Berlin the morning after.
