About Japanese photographer, Kanendo WATANABE (渡辺兼人, b.1947)

In 1981 Kanendo WATANABE won the Ihei Kimura Prize with a novel 'Photographic City', co-authored with novelist Mieko Kanai. To date, his works have been regularly presented, and all the works are permanently stored in the Kyoto Museum of Contemporary Art.
