"Published on the occasion of an exhibition at the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum, this book of photographs, 'Sentmental Journey 1971-2017' by Nobuyoshi ARAKI focuses on a single subject from his vast oeuvre with a profound collection of photographs: his wife Yoko. - As Nobuyoshi ARAKI himself has said, 'I became a photographer thanks to Yoko'. From their first meeting in 1968 until her untimely death from ovarian kebs in 1990, Yoko was both his most important subject and muse.
