"Photography creates worlds - or at least mountains of images to begin with. The photo book 'Eight Days A Week. Seven And One Iteration' by Andreas TROGISCH attempts to create the world out of the mountains by putting the motifs in a kind of natural-historical order. Seven attempts are made - based on the suspicion that the divine creation may not have succeeded at the first attempt either. - Seven plus one attempt, and in each of these eight attempts the world is created not in seven, but one day more. Namely, after the original creation is finished on time for the Sabbath each time, the Anthropocene begins on day 7+." (© Kerber Verlag, 2021)
