Background information, personal statement by Espen KRUGHAUG.
"The 'Bifröst' series explores the realm of insomnia, a condition experienced by millions of people, including myself and the models featured in this book. Based on our own experiences, we have attempted to portray the strange and delirious thoughts that arise due to lack of sleep. As with a sick person or an addict, this loss of control can deceive perception and blur the usual distinctions between reality and dreams. When the body and soul are deprived of the proper experience of wakefulness and sleep, the result is an abnormal existence in which the mind seems to feed on itself. In this environment, even the smallest obstacles or problems can seem insurmountable." (freely translated text, Espen KRUGHAUG)
Contents
"As in his previous book publication 'Before Dawn', Espen KRUGHAUG addresses and explores insomnia. If in 'Before Dawn' he wandered sleeplessly through the streets outside the home, 'Bifröst' takes place mainly in the bedrooms. Restless, tossing people back and forth in the dark of night."
