For 'Anonymous Mitte. Berlin' Arwed MESSMER has visited this magical place again and again since 1995 and captured the changes photographically. An essay by Annett Gröschner as well as a text by Florian Ebner on Berlin urban photography complete the book.

'Aus der Ferne: Bilder der DDR' (From far away. Images of the GDR) is about dealing with the visual heritage, about hidden bodies of knowledge & multiple meanings, as well as the specific contexts in which the photos were taken, and how to deal with them.

The photo book 'Women at Work' by Helga PARIS shows 49 portraits taken in 1984 for the series 'Women in the clothing factory VEB Treff-Modelle Berlin'. From the close familiarity of the women workers in their environment, touching portraits were created.

The book 'Replies' by Andreas TROGISCH has no theme and no concept. He only has pictures. In front of his eyes and in his head. And he has his camera, which he uses to take new pictures, which then correspond with all the pictures that are already there.

The photo book 'Brandmauern' (firewalls) by Harf ZIMMERMANN contains traces of the bombings of the Second World War, with bullet holes, bomb splinters and outlines of past buildings, whether densely overgrown, bare or covered with graffiti and advertising

The self-published, out-of-print volume 'Apathie. Erfurt/IX1155/82' (Chronicle of an Escape Attempt) by Michael ANHALT shows the scenes of the action, partly in historical photographs from 1982, partly from 2008, as well as a number of original documents.
