Background information
Today Margherita SPILUTTINI is one of the international top ten in architectural photography. In 1991, 1996 and 2004 she was represented at the Architecture Biennale in Venice. The 'Grand Dame' of architectural photography thus continues to shape the image and the media perception of built artistic achievements. And always remains modest and selflessly pragmatic: 'I only take the photos. And this effort is out of all proportion to what the architects have to achieve and master".
Content
The monograph 'räumlich' (in English 'spacious') on Margerita SPILUTTINI's work reflects her vast archive, a comprehensive chronicle of Austrian architecture as well as important buildings by international star architects from around the world. Her free works 'Nach der Natur' and her 'Bildgeschichten' (picture stories) prove above all her artistic rank.
