About US-American photographer, Jim MANGAN
"Jim MANGAN takes an ecological and sociological approach to his work, observing his subjects and their interactions with their environment. He seeks to forge a sense of connectivity with the earth and disparate communities. For nearly a quarter century, he lived in Colorado and Utah to study water rights and drought habits, to his current career in photography and filmmaking. His publications are in the Whitney Museum in New York and the New York Public Library collections. His work has been exhibited at institutions such as Deichtorhallen in Hamburg, Kunst im Tunnel in Düsseldorf, and the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art." (© Lightwork.org, 2023)
