About the German-American photographer, Michael WOLF (1954-2019)
Michael WOLF grew up in California and studied at the University of California, Berkeley and the Folkwang University in Essen. In 1994 he went to Hong Kong as a photo reporter for Stern. He lived in China for ten years. He later lived with his family in Paris and worked as a freelance photographer. He published a good two dozen photo volumes - most of them with his friend, Hannes Wanderer. Michael WOLF died in his apartment on Cheung Chau Island in Hong Kong.
