About the German photographer, Herlinde KOELBL

Herlinde KOELBL is one of the most renowned German photographic artists. Her extensive body of work is characterized primarily by long-term photographic projects, often complemented by in-depth conversations and videos. Her photographs have been shown in numerous international exhibitions and are represented in many important collections. She has received several awards for her work, including the Dr. Erich Salomon Prize in 2001 and the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2009. To date, she has published over a dozen photo books.
