About the Czech photographer, Jitka HANZLOVÁ (b. 1958 in Náchod)
Jitka HANZLOVÁ is a Czech photographic artist. In 1982 she fled from the former CSSR to the Federal Republic of Germany and in 1987 she began studying visual communication at the University of Essen with a focus on photography. In her entire work the autobiographical, memory and the question of identity play an important role. Jitka HANZLOVÁ lives in Essen.
