"There are places that I couldn't even dream of dreaming together. And to be honest, I rarely see them.
But it has to be me, because they exist. Angela BRÖHAN finds her, probably without looking. And then she takes pictures of these placeless places that show me how strange it can be wherever people live.
Angela BRÖHAN took photos in the south, La Palma, Tenerife and Lisbon. But it doesn't really matter. In the pictures you feel like you are just somewhere else, in a nameless place beyond time and space. Strange, although we know everything there is to see: houses, trucks or containers. Trees, ships, traffic lights or fences and walls.
Somehow a storybook." (freely translated publisher's note, © Hannes WANDERER, Peperoni Books, 2018)
