Über den indischen Magnum-Fotografen, Raghu RAI (*1942)

Raghu RAI ist seit 1965 als Fotograf tätig. 1977 wurde er von Henri CARTIER-BRESSON für Magnum Photos nominiert. Seine fotografischen Essays wurden in internationalen Magazinen wie TIME, LIFE, The New York Times, Newsweek und The National Geographic veröffentlicht. 1971 wurde er von der indischen Regierung mit dem Padma Shri ausgezeichnet, 1992 wurde er in den USA zum Fotografen des Jahres gekürt.
