In the book 'Verlassene Ort' (Abandoned Places) various photographers document the beautiful and at the same time eerie atmosphere of places where decay has set in and nature has returned. The history & present of these places are explained in short texts

The out-of-print 'Vibrant Home' is a tender visual diary by Japanese photographer A-CHAN of the three places in which she has lived since 2000: Tokyo, Fujishiro and New York City. It contains color pictures she made wandering the streets with her camera.

Physicist Masanao ABE built an observatory with a view of Mount Fuji in the late 1920s. From there he held the clouds that surrounded the mountain for over 15 years. The motifs unintentionally fit into a iconographic tradition: the mountain and the cloud.
