Urbanity

This chronologically arranged monograph on the work of Eugène ATGET shows a photograph and includes the commentary of the editor, John Szarkowski. However, it is less about an exact analysis than about capturing the context and describing the attributes.

The photo volume 'Monochrome' contains a fine selection of very contrasting contemporary black and white photographs by Daido MORIYAMA, taken in the years between 2008 and 2012. The volume complements its simultaneously published counterpart 'Color'.

Out-of-print volume 'Berlin 1978-1987' by Boris BECKER shows early works of the photographer of the Düsseldorf Photo School, taken on 35mm and medium format. In the course of history and the change of our perception, these have gained in importance.
