The objects in the photo volume '¥ € $ U $' by Pawel JASZCZUK are sometimes so screaming & grotesque that the meaning of religion can at least be examined not only for the people in Poland. The photographs are printed on paper with a high-gloss varnish.

A figure of the younger Japanese photo scene, Yoshinori MIZUTANI, he examines the urbanity of his city Tokyo, documenting scenes bordering on the fantastic. His birds in 'Des Oiseaux' give the city back its secret.

'CAMP 1979' by Keizo KITAJIMA documents the activities in the experimental space of the same name co-founded by Keizo KITAJIMA, Seiji KURATA & Daido MORIYAMA. Typical for his style is the coarse grain and very strong contrast and his choice of subjects.

The photo volume 'Sight' by Yoko ASAKAI contains portraits of people from all over the world watching a film at home. The relationship between looking and being looked at is explored. The concentrated-portrait subjects seem to be unaware of the camera.

The photo volume'Tokyo Jazz Joints' by Northern Irish photographer Philip ARNEILL and James Catchpole documents the culture of disappearing jazz pubs and cafes in Japan / Tokyo, the Jazu Kissa, where jazz records are played and time seems to stand still.
