The out-of-print volume 'One picture at a Time. Photographs 1952 - 2008' accompanied the retrospective of the work of Gunnar SMOLIANSKY, who became the leading voice in Swedish photography thanks to his idiosyncratic style and quiet attention to detail.

In 2014, the Bibliothèque nationale in Paris organized a retrospective for PETERSEN, on which this great monograph - as it were the first, comprehensive appreciation of the work - this great humanist photographer has appeared as an accompanying catalog.
