The black and white images in the out-of-print photographic volume 'ON' by Irish photographer Eamonn DOYLE consist of a collection of street portraits from Dublin city center. The people are mostly photographed from the front and from a lower angle.

Out-of-print 'Hong Kong Umbrella' by Michael WOLF shows umbrellas in the Back Alleys. The cover also refers to the yellow umbrella as a symbol of protest against Chinese appropriation; images of the 'Umbrella Revolution' by Lam Yik FEI can also be seen.

'A New American Picture' by Doug RICKARD contains color photographs of machine-generated images. He defines his own image section - in this way detaches them from the context of their automated origin to create snapshots of urban & rural decay in the U.S.

In addition to works selected by Eva BESNYÖ herself, the out-of-print volume contains previously never shown works with motifs from Budapest, Berlin, Brussels, Paris, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Milan with attention to light, shadow, cropping and line play.
