In this out-of-print photo book 'Lines, Marks, and Drawings. Lines, Marks and Drawings. Through the Lens of Roger Ballen', this volume examines his work from a new perspective, from distinctive portraits and complex photographic tableaux to YouTube films.

The photo book 'Hyena Men', first published in 2007, made the South African photographer Pieter HUGO known outside the photo book scene. There is something disturbing about the images of wandering fairmen who entertain people with their animals.

Through frank and intimate photographic representations, the photo volume, 'Only Half the Story', by Zanele MUHOLI inspires a deeper understanding of the female form, skin color and different sexualities in a way that is unprecedented in South Africa.

The photo volume 'Somnyama Ngonyama. Hail the Dark Lioness', the monograph by Zanele MUHOLI, one of today's most powerful visual activists, contains radical statements on identity, race and resistance, as well as a direct response to all forms of racism.

Character studies and social landscapes are the subject of Mikhael SUBOTZKY's debut photo volume 'Beaufort West', which deals with central issues of today's South African society - a social document and visual manifesto of South African art photography.

The limited edition publication 'Rwanda 2004. Traces of a Genocide' shows older photographic works by Pieter HUGO. The book also includes an essay by investigative journalist Linda Melvern, in which she explains the situation in Rwanda in detail.

In 'This Must Be The Place' we see how the photographer Pieter HUGO oscillates between political commitment, documentary responsibility and their relationship to his own (image) aesthetics. It includes 'The Hyena Men', 'Nollywood' and 'Permanent Error'.

The photo volume 'Faces and Phases. 2006-2014' by Zanele MUHOLI with more than 250 portraits gives an eloquent testimony of life and struggle. They are an unparalleled and invaluable archive: marking, mapping and preserving a community for posterity.

The book title '1994' commemorates an important year in the history of South Africa and Rwanda - here Mandela's election as president, there genocide. In retrospect, Pieter HUGO processed the events of the year with portraits of children and young people.
