In her rare, out-of-print volume 'Dildo', published in a very limited edition of only 55 copies, Japanese photographer Momo OKABE accompanies her friends in their transformation from woman to man. She developed her intimate, artistic photographs by hand.

The photo volume 'Wonderful Days' by Masahisa FUKASE contains about 30 b/w shots of Masahsa FUKASE's apartment with cats, interior and his wife Yoko. Without further information in the book, the date of the photos can be estimated between 1960s to 1980s.

New edition. 'So it goes, so it goes' by Miho KAJIOKA presents a work about time, memory and place. The series shows intuitive images of fragments of their everyday life at different points in time. Inspiration was Kurt Vonnegut's novel 'Schlachthof 5'.

The out-of-print volume 'Matter / Burn Out' by Daisuke YOKOTA is a documentation of the exhibition of the same name in Xiamen, which was burned after its completion. This was documented, with the data processed, manipulated and revived to create this book

Out-of-print 'Immerse' by Daisuke YOKOTA closes his Teikai trilogy. Dream-like b/w images meet abstract colour works, mixed with nudes. He brings fragments together to showcase the way he has developed his artistic approach since his first TEIKAI volume.

This edition of 'Chizu / The Map' by Kikuji KAWADA is an exquisite facsimile of the two-volume maquette, which also includes a booklet of texts and an interview with the Japanese artist revealing the evolution of one of the best photobooks of all time.

This set includes all three different designs and book formats of the 'No more no less' photo book project which has been iniciated by Thomas SAUVIN and Kensuke KOIKE. The base was a found manuscript with pictures about the work with portrait photography.

Self published out-of-print photographic volume 'Distance. 1991-1995' by Koji ONAKA is about an unspecified city and in its industries. The black-and-white images show railroad infrastructure and roads, as well as a worn port. Signed & numbered (178/300).

The out-of-print volume 'Vertigo' by Daisuke YOKOTA is a kind of evolutionary sequel to 'Back Yard'. It contains close-ups as well as bird's-eye views of files. It refers to and clarifies the editing methods used by making the viewer aware of the sequence

The volume 'Picture of My Life' by Junpei UEDA is the result of workshop in Tokyo, where he created 21 copies. This edition is as close as possible to the original edition, but in a larger print run of 500 copies to make it available to a larger audience.

'Waga Tokyo 100' tries to record Shitamachi Tokyo. Instead of drawing a portrait of the city, however, the Japanese photographer Issei SUDA documents the people who live there. Although it is not a narrative, the selected photos form a whole.

The monograph 'Small Biography' features photographs by Shoji UEDA from the 1930s to the 1990s, originally published in Camera Mainichi magazine between 1974 and 1985. The limited edition of 1000 copies was numbered with an ink stamp on the colophon page.

The book 'Remote Past a Memoir: 1951-1966' by Kikuji KAWADA focuses on Japan in the 1950s and 60s, in which he established his own photographic voice; it includes work that is highly regarded by other Japanesephotographers such as Ihei KIMURA & Ken DOMON.

'Tenko', is an intersection between the photos of artist HANAYO, mother of Tenko, and the mystical, sensual photos of Tenko's favorite children's book, 'Alice' by Hajime SAWATARI, one of the first books Tenko came in contact with during her childhood.

The out-of-print catalog volume on Takashi HOMMA (*1962) contains series made up to 2019 - the last series was printed on a different paper. The famous series 'Tokyo Suburbia' is missing, but you can get a good insight into the photographer's development.

The out-of-print 'Unseen / Tsunami' is a project by two photographers one based in New York (Kohey KANNO), the other in Tokyo (Momo OKABE), both referring to their personal lives, lovers and circle of friends against the backdrop of 2011 Fukushima tsunami

This anthology, appropriately self-titled 'Record', contains works from all 30 issues of Daido MORIYAMA's self-published magazine 'Kiroku/Record' since the 1970s. The editing in a single sequence is interrupted only by the text written by himself.

'In Our Nature' by Takashi HOMMA, which has been out of print for a long time, differs from other works, which all show an urban environment in some form. These photographs here do not show pure nature as such, but rather what people understand by nature.

ORIGINAL PACKAGING! Out-of-print 'Photo Express: Tokyo' set by Keizo KITAJIMA consists of twelve booklets in a cardboard slipcase, which the Japanese photographer published in 1979 on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name in his gallery 'Camp'.

Haunting, distorted and otherworldly images in the out-of-print volume 'Site/Cloud' epitomizes the approach of Daisuke YOKOTA to pushing the development process & possibilities of analog image making, introducing imperfections and visual noise into them.

This out-of-print photo Hysteric-Glamour-volume by MIkiko HARA contains color photographs taken with a 1930s camera without a viewfinder. Her motifs are from of everyday life, which highlight unique aspects and moods through composition and light color.

'CAMP 1979' by Keizo KITAJIMA documents the activities in the experimental space of the same name co-founded by Keizo KITAJIMA, Seiji KURATA & Daido MORIYAMA. Typical for his style is the coarse grain and very strong contrast and his choice of subjects.

For his out-of-print book 'Outskirts', Daisuke YOKOTA explores the boundaries between digital & analog photography. He uses color images from the outskirts of Tokyo - pictures of cars, trees & buildings - whose colors he then reverses into the monochrome.

The book 'A City Aglow' by Shunji DODO book is a warm, dizzyingly up-close and overwhelming portrait of Thailand's capital Bangkok. Made in medium 6x6 format, the black-and-white photographs were taken during numerous visits between the mid-1980s and 2019

Zen Foto Book #13. Two portraits of Tokyo in 1995 & 2010. After merely 15 years, the streets, the people, the textures have all completly changed. TAKEFUJI made two intense portraits, in which the city has metamorphosed from pleasure-dome to sunless sea.

Many of the photographs in 'Dance' deal with nature and there are different sections dedicated to the same subject, such as fire or flowers. 'Dance' is printed in large format on paper with a slightly rough texture, which goes extremely well with work.

In 'Dragonfly. 2002-2007' by Koji ONAKA, the matte color application harmonizes with the intention of the unspectacular, also evident in the choice of the cheapest possible color film. The countryside shots are great because they don't pretend to be great

In this 8th volume of a photo book series with screen-printed canvas covers, Daido MORIYAMA's 'Tiles in Aizuwakamatsu' the Japanese photographer takes as its subject the flood of roundish tiles that decorated the toilet of his hotel room in Aizuwakamatsu.

In 'Slow Boat' Koji ONAKA compares sailing on a boat with his way of life & photography. The b/w photos were taken between 1984 and 1999. His fifth monograph in total was published in three editions, with the 2nd edition published as a faithful facsimile.

The volume 'Kill the Pig' by Masahisa FUKASE brings together two series, first shown in 1961. 'Kill the Pig', was taken in a slaughterhouse in Shibaura, Tokyo. 'Naked' shows the photographer himself and his then partner Yukiyo Kawakami in various poses.

Photo volume 'Frida' by Miyako ISHIUCHI shows how Frida Kahlo used her style to project her feminist and socialist beliefs. The photos transform her dresses into objects that testify to personal struggle, cultural awareness as well as artistic ingenuity.

In his out-of-print photo volume 'Trails, Takashi HOMMA documents trails of deer hunting in the snow-covered mountains, following the trails of red blood in the white snow that lead up steep slopes and across a river. Each scene like an abstract painting.

Out-of-print photo book 'Corpus' by Daisuke YOKOTA consists of around forty grainy nude photographs. The b/w images show an indefinable tangle of human limbs and torsos in the confines of a nondescript bedroom - made tangible in an uncanny yet sensual way

'Plastic Love', the fifth volume in the series of hand-bound books with screen-printed canvas covers, contains black & white and as well color photos of mannequins, which are one of the favorite motifs of the Japanese master photographer Daido MORIYAMA.

Daido MORIYAMA's photo book 'Kanban' is the direct successor to 'KURA chan' in the series of hand-bound volumes with screen-printed envelopes. It contains photographs of billboards that can be found in large numbers on the streets of his favorite cities.

The images in 'Berlin' by Daisuke YOKOTA exhibit his signature experimental processing techniques whilst also demonstrating unconventional shooting methods like re-appropriating thermographic & infrared cameras and rendering the images onto analog film.
