This photo book contains the famous photo series, which is one of the classics of German industrial photography. As one of the most important representatives of 'fotoform' group KEETMAN created, due to their detailed composition, almost abstract pictures.

The 1929 self-published publication '50 Years Leonhard Tietz 1879/1929' contains an illustrated description of the company history. At the end of the volume, Werner MANTZ is explicitly named as the author of the artistic black and white recordings.

The volume 'Fabrik' by Jakob TUGGENER conveys a critical view of the destructive potential of unchecked technological progress at a time when the arms industry was producing weapons for war. The uncompromisingly subjective photography underlines his view.
