Female photographer

Inspired by the origins of the European museum, the art and wonder chambers of the Renaissance, artist Bettina von ZWEHL shows in her overall presentation 'Wunderkammer' a cross section of her photographic reflections on institutionalized representation.

'Icaro' by Irene ZOTTOLA was created from leaves of a found encyclopedia, selected fragments of a novel and photographic prints made in the darkroom with liquid emulsion. The project aims to establish a parallel between bird flight and human life journey.

'Yashi no mi' by Miho YOKOCHI is a photo report about her travels to coastal cities in Japan - in the tradition of Tamiko NISHIMURA, who traveled to the Tohoku, Hokuriku, Kanto, Kansai and Chugoku in the 1970s and published her series as a photo book, too
