Documentary style

The photo volume 'Monochrome' contains a fine selection of very contrasting contemporary black and white photographs by Daido MORIYAMA, taken in the years between 2008 and 2012. The volume complements its simultaneously published counterpart 'Color'.

'Town of C' by Richard ROTHMAN is a meditation on what lies beneath the surface of U.S. culture, seen through the lens of a small southern Colorado town. it is in the tradition of socially critical photo books by Walker EVANS, Robert FRANK & Robert ADAMS.

This perfectly produced photo volume, 'Kvidinge' by Gerry JOHANSSON, contains photographs taken between 2004 and 2007. It has been published in April 2007 as part of the exhibition 'On the verge of his existence' at the Hasselblad Center in Stockholm.

'Family Car Trouble' plays with the form of the novel, both material and narrative, to illustrate the inner workings of the photographer. The recordings document arrival and departure as well as the maintenance of a difficult 1993 Volvo 940 station wagon.

'Du mich auch' by Anders PETERSEN contains images, taken in Hamburg & Stockholm in the 60s - surrounded by bar girls, petty thieves, dock workers, Bob Dylan copies, street vendors from the fish market, legless war heroes, they lived & worked on St.Pauli.
