Über die britische Fotografin Emiy ANDERSEN
Emily ANDERSEN ist eine Absolventin des Royal College of Art. Sie wurde unter anderem mit dem John-Kobal-Preis für Porträtfotografie ausgezeichnet. Sie ist Dozentin für Theorie und Praxis der Fotografie an der Nottingham Trent University. Ihre Arbeiten wurden unter anderem in folgenden Galerien ausgestellt: The Photographers' Gallery, London; The Institute of Contemporary Art, London; The Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa; The Scottish National Portrait Gallery, Edinburgh; The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, University of Birmingham; Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art; Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai; China Arts Museum, Shanghai; BOOKMARC Gallery, Tokyo; und LOWW Gallery, Tokyo, Japan. Eine Reihe ihrer Porträts befindet sich in der ständigen Sammlung der National Portrait Gallery, London. Emily ANDERSEN lebt und arbeitet in London.
