Background information
"For this new series, 'Cloud Physics' by Terri WEIFENBACH, inspired by scientific data captured from measuring instruments related to meteorology (atmospheric density of clouds, variations in the sun, rainfall, etc.), the American photographer is interested in living things, nature, water, air, light, fire, and questions the ability of photography to capture the evanescence of natural and sensitive phenomena. What perceptions do we have of our environment, what is our relationship to the sensitive world?

The images in this photo volume, 'Cloud Physics' by Terri WEIFENBACH, shot in the forest of Fontainebleau, in the garden of the National Museum of Natural History in Paris, in Japan in Nara and Mishima parks, in the Rocky Mountains and the vast plains of Montana and Wyoming, or in the salt marshes of St. Catherines Island, Georgia, capture the tiny variations of light and humidity. The clouds thicken and take on golden hues, the plant world rustles with humidity, the animal presence is revealed in the hollow of a forest. The photographic gesture becomes perception."
