In the 'Magnum Legacy' series about life & work of selected Magnum photographers this volume is dedicated to Bruce DAVIDSON. The accompanying text examines the wide range of his techniques and classifies his work in the photography of the 20th century.

'Subway', the new edition of 1986s original. In 1980 Bruce DAVIDSON began photographing the New York subway system. At first in black and white, but he soon realized that color film was necessary to depict the intensity of this graffiti-covered landscape.

'Realitatea' by Andrea DIEFENBACH is the result of a long-term project and contains vignettes from Moldova, a country in a state of limbo, and facsimiles of newspapers and texts that place them in the context of the political events of the past ten years.
