For this out-of-print photo volume, 'Roma', Joseph KOUDELKA has revised and expanded 'Gypsies'. This book contains all black-and-white photographs taken between 1962 and 1971 from Bohemia, Moravia, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, France as well as from Spain.

This photo book 'The Saxons of Transylvania' by Spanish photographers MARTÍNEZ & SÀEZ uses archival footage, recent color photographs, illustrations, and storytelling to document the return of original German Saxons to Romania to preserve their culture.

'Innenwelten' by Beatrice MINDA explores the relationship between home, exile & identity. After interiors in Romania, she photographed in preferred destinations of Romanian migrants, finally followed by shacks of migrant workers in the suburbs of Paris.

This version of 'Gypsies' by Joseph KOUDELKA represents the first realization of the original maquette, which was created by the photographer together with graphic artist Milan Kopřiva in 1968 and was originally intended to be published in Prague in 1970.

The out-of-print photo volume 'Cocalari' by Alfredo D'AMATO shows the living situation in the capital of Romania long after the fall of the communist regime in 1989. Many people survive in suburbs and around Bucharest only by selling recycled metals.
