Out-of-print photo book 'Drugstore Camera' by Dennis HOPPER includes portraits of his friends & family, road trips through Kansas state, and improvised still lifes - shot in New Mexico, where he lived in the late 1960s after the production of 'Easy Rider'

This photo volume, 'Raghu Rai's India', by India's Magnum photographer contains color images from the 1980s to the 2000s. His images tell of ordinary people, the rituals and routines that make up their daily rhythms, their spiritual fervor and dignity.

The book, 'Shanghai' by Bettina RHEIMS, is the result of her search for the spirit of the women of Shanghai. But these staged photographs of women from all walks of life in the old city show a place so fast moving and evolving that her search became moot.

'Ultima Thule' by Henrik SAXGREN deals about a disappearing hunter culture. In total, the Danish photographer has spent more than six months among the hunters of Thule - divided over six journeys over the last three years - in order to get these pictures.

'Le Collége' by Florian van ROEKEL deals about everyday life at school and about growing up. Possibly the young people are enabled by the pictures to see themselves, each other and their school with new eyes and learn to discover poetry in everyday life.

In 'Surfacing', Katinka GOLDBERG searches the confrontation with the picture of her mother. The combination of current portraits and older photographs brings to light both differences & commonalities. The idiosyncratic book develops its power over time.
