Elisabeth NEUDÖRFL went to the vibrant metropolis of Hong Kong to document the situation on the ground. She encountered a city deeply marked by protests and its struggle for democracy, the intransigence of power and the onset of the Covid 19 pandemic.

Volume No.6 of the book series 'Grosse Photographern unserer Zeit' (Great Photographers of Our Time) presents the work of Swiss Magnum photographer Werner BISCHOF (1916-1954) in over 80 b/w images - works in the area of tension between art and reportage.

The first title in a three-part series containing examinations about architectural development of cities in Asia includes mostly fullpaged colour images from Japan, Taiwan, South Corea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, China & Laos made from 2014 to 2019.

These fascinating shots of natural spectacles in the photo volume 'Cheung Chau Sunrises' by Michael WOLF, appear as a contrast to his previous work, which addressed the lack of space and the human adaptation to economic conditions in large cities.
