The photographic volume 'Aufwacken' by Jens NOLTE is the result of a four-year project about the heavy metal festival in Wacken, Schleswig-Holstein, with a selection of snapshots, portraits of the festival visitors as well as the devastated festival area.

The black-and-white photographs in the volume 'Bye-bye, Belyn. In a village in Brandenburg' by Conny HÖFLICH show the everyday life of young people in a small village. The photographs were taken between 2005 and 2007.
