Over the years, filmmaker Sébastien LIFSHITZ has amassed a large collection of images depicting men and women at the intersection of private life, the history of homosexuality, and feminist activism. The authors of the volume 'Mauvais genre. Les travestis à travers un siècle de photographie amateur', Christine Bard & Isabelle Bonnet, shed light on this little-known, often-silenced aspect through representations from the Sébastien Lifshitz collection.
